Basic Rider Course

The Basic Rider Course (BRC) is designed for anyone who is interested in learning to ride a motorcycle and has little or no experience.  It is a three day course that includes both classroom and riding material.  We start by spending time on risk management, riding gear, and basic motorcycle controls and operations.  After the basics are covered, we work on defensive riding and accident avoidance skills.  We pride ourselves on taking the time to help new riders attain the necessary skills to have a safe and long motorcycling career.

Intermediate Rider Course

The Intermediate Rider Course (IRC) is designed for riders who have a few hundred miles under their belt, but are not ready to take the the Experienced Rider Course. The IRC is a one day course designed to help create good habits and increase the students overall riding abilities.  In the IRC, we spend very little time on basic skills (like using the clutch and throttle).  Instead, we focus on skills such as proper cornering, braking, and overall control. We also step into advanced techniques such as swerving at speed and emergency braking. In the IRC, you have the option of bringing your own motorcycle, or using one of ours.

Experienced Rider Course

The Experienced Rider Course (ERC) is designed to focus attention on breaking bad habits and improving skill for riders who have had plenty of time on a motorcycle and do not need to work on basic controls and skills.  We spend time on advanced techniques including braking and swerving, while also polishing everyday skills.  You also get to bring your own bike, which allows you to practice on the machine you normally ride.  The ERC is a one day course, so you don't have to devote an entire weekend!
